Has anyone experienced severe frame drops on console? Is my Wii defective? I'm USB loading and I've tried multiple SD cards.

It's EVERYWHERE now, I'm not good at describing its uses but I can link you just a few of the million examples. You should be noticing it all the time from high level players, just like instant landings and autocancels happen all the time naturally.

This is actually super useful. This and shield dropping are the only techs that I feel I need to utilize. Maybe better platform game in general including lasers. Might relearn consistent double shine down the road once I stop getting grabbed 15+ times a match by -0. If Falco had better grab game I bet I'd be closer to beating -0, he lets me grab him all the time.

The best way to not get grabbed is to not be in your enemies grab range.

That is a very straight forward answer that a lot of people are missing nowadays because you have new players telling other new players that they have to know how to do all this complicated shine tech.

We played on an HD TV and I lost all the ones where I played Falco.

Most of those rolls were me screwing up tech I feel like. We were on Wi-Fi codeset for the 1st half. Possibly bad habit and I just do it w/o thinking. I used to never roll, just miss techs and L-cancels.

@ Paradoxium He doesn't just grab me unless I hit shield incorrectly. Also I'm playing Falco, so ideally every time I put someone into shield it is safe pressure and I punish their OoS option or shield grab.

I would much rather dash dance and space back airs then go in shining. If I go in and shine pressure they could just buffer roll in a random direction, attack me before my hit lands, us an up b oos, and in some cases crouch cancel.

But if im spacing my attacks and respecting their shield they can't hit me with anything, and at the same time i can cover pretty much everything they can do.

Much less risk in respecting the shield

probably not the best way to go about it though.

if theres a specific girl you see all the time and youre close with and you want to date her, just treat her like your girlfriend anyway. dont say anything, just simply do it, hang out a lot and be flirty and open and comfortable and fun and have good conversations. pretty straightforward.

I certainly don't recommend my previous method.

Yeah, I see that. It just sucks to not have stage control. If the other person is spaced properly, aside from reading grab or attk in a RPS scenario. You can really only go back for ledge invincibly and hope the situation is better when you come back up or take a platform, which they can read. This exact situation is why Spacies vs Marth on FD is scary. You have a whole one less option that was previously kinda great.

Buffering roll away from the grab is super tempting in that situation, as in the short term it relives a lot of pressure.

Eh... kind of off topic, but I have an idea on how to maybe alternatively load PM onto PAL consoles. The most recent method seems to be USB Loading (and I know PAL PM is coming soon as well, but this is just for the mean time), but that's difficult to set-up due to certain circumstances. Now I don't know if this will work or not, but its been on my mind lately. Project M used to use Gecko OS to launch itself back in the day (now its the PM Launcher). Someone actually made an equivalent of the application (which is basically the same as Gecko OS, but with Wii Remote Plus support) named Wii Launcher (http://wiibrew.org/wiki/WiiLauncher). I noticed that this application along with Gecko OS have a "Force PAL60" (as well as "Force PAL50" and "Force NTSC"). Couldn't we just use one of these applications to load Project M on a PAL console with a NTSC disc by just clicking the "Force PAL60" tab? Now there are problems that arise since some PAL users don't have an NTSC disc, but this is just a crazy idea that I had that may or may not work. Hopefully this might help until the PAL PM arrives.

I really gotta brag about this somewhere.

So I don't know how many of you people here have ever played Dark Souls but on my 4th try against the Anor Londo bosses, pretty hard bosses and, according tosomeone I know, will generally demolish new players and will take several attempts to beat (or even more depending on which one you killed first to where the other goes into super form, as one is harder then the other in super form), on my first play through of the game. And I took on the one that has a very difficult super form, apperantly the DkS community thinks it is a very bs battle. It was super intense, hell I'm still feeling the intensity of it. But man was it awesome.
