ggs my friend. I was playing quite poorly today, especially in the beginning and near the end.

Can you please tell me what I was doing wrong? It was so frustrating losing and not knowing why.
I am not by any means what you might call a "professional" player. So bear with me when I say you just didn't react fast enough or like a lot of other people say that you shouldn't fight based on a reaction in online matches. The connection was more or less stable for me and I assume for you as well so Im gonna go with you just did some bad input.

An example of this is if I were to launch you off the stage at a low horizontal angle and you didn't tech roll it you'd accidently do a down air with Roy and then sorta be helpless to just fall off since the animation is somewhat long.

With Lucario the missed extreme speed recoveries are you trying to curve it too early and happens to me a lot, not sweetspotting the ledge with it also leaves you open when an attack with a reasonable hitbox is thrown out.

Last note, I don't know how much you may practice wavedashing/dashdancing but it doesn't seem like you are 100% on them. When you dashdance you more or less stay within the same area so you are left pretty open if I were to just charge at you and do a grab or dash attack like I do so often with Charizard.

The wavedashing also doesn't really have any input done afterwards and I generally refrain from trying because I can't unless its a character gimmick like Dedede's waddledash or when you pick of Diddykongs banana's
