Yeah, that's what I was asking. Felt like a .25 second lag or so on my side. Didn't know if it was my imagination or not though and didn't want to be that guy. Played last night and didn't notice a lag (though still got my *** handed to me).
Any tips for how to play sonic in a non-terrible-brawl kind of way?
And yeah, I didn't see any way to control items vs none or how to let you have a say in the stage. I just kept hitting random so it wasn't just me picking every time.
Input delay is a given on wifi, a quarter of a second with input delay is usually taken as a godsend compared to how it is on average. I wouldn't take any offense if you didn't like the quality of our connection. Wifi is wifi.
I honestly have **** clue as to how Sonic should be played in P:M, so I don't really have any specific advice. General advice would be to avoid rolling so much, and not using spindash from the other side of the stage (repeatedly, at least). Also, you used homing attack a lot, which made it easy to bait as a response to certain situations.
I didn't have my items turned on, since I don't ordinarily play with them, and I didn't know which ones you wanted to have excluded (it seemed that not all of them were appearing). As for stage selections, I just mixed it up between legal and banned.
