Project M Online Matchmaking Thread (Wii)

Does anyone mind helping me get Project M 3.6 WiFi? I can't seem to get it working right for Homebrew, and the PM Support Team isn't doing much, if anything, to help me. :/

That's because it's a simple process. If you have the latest launcher version, then in the launcher, you'll see, right above the Exit button, Addons. Select it, and you'll see the Official PM Wifi Addon. Install it, and you can play online, but ONLY with Friends.

downloading the wifi addon did not work for me, i had to add a file to the projectm folder and then it worked. If you want, i can send you the file

JohnTwo, I tried that. Ian, send me the file? Also include instructions on where to place it. Btw, I don't think downloading the Addon works on Homebrew?

Correct. Downloading the addon caused my game to freeze every time i clicked on the FIGHT button, so before doing this, you might have to download a fresh install of PM... that's what i had to do.

Alright so here is the file, go to the "codes" folder, and all should be inside it is this file: "RSBE01.gct". Replace that file, with the file im giving you, and then Wifi should work. No need to do anything else.

If this doesn't work, send me a private message or just comment on here or something and say so, and ill give you a different file. And if it DOES work, also tell me so i know everything went well lol


EDIT: im gonna have to send you a private message with the file or something, because for some reason i can't post it on here

Am i the only night owl on dis thing? I swear everyones in bed by 12am it seems like lol. Well i still havnt got to play an actual person yet using wifi but im keep trying. If anyones up ill play right now

You missed it bro, probably a good thing though because I would have just vanquished Ganon with my master sword anyways
