Added, don't see you online though.
Edit: nvm! Hosting (:
Good games, Iggy. I have some more information pertaining to our matches, which I'll include in an edited version of this post, so stick around for a bit.

I noticed you had the basics down pretty well (inputs, recovery, et cetera) but you were often fairly predictable and easy to read, and used a lot of attacks that are easy to punish, like Ike's forward smash or Kirby's rock. Try to mix it up more and use moves like aerials and tilts for spacing purposes, and reserving those slower moves for when the opponent is less likely to expect them.

There are also some basic techniques in PM that are necessary to compete, especially one known as the L-cancel, which removes all landing lag on aerials. Some of this information can be found in this video series: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGS5eT68P-8

You also seemed at a loss for exactly how to go about playing your characters, which is understandable as a very new player. Watching higher level players with these characters is good for getting a grasp of what they are capable of. This topic - http://smashboards.com/threads/top-players-videos-by-character-v3-5.378056/page-2#post-17997550 - has good videos of tournament players with each character, very helpful when you're trying to pick someone up but don't know where to start.

Lastly, I don't mind the items or odd stages, but these rules, which are in the first page of this thread, detail the rules usually followed in matches here.

Tired of the hassle of finding and getting others to add for some online play .So im hoping to start a list. Make sure you have the wifi safe set. Leave your friend code and name. Ill add it to the list when I get the chance. Could also just leave your code and ask to play. Im sure youll find a challenger.

Everyone on the list is required to add everyone else on the list.
(Or at least make an attempt to keep up with the list.)

[collapse=Names and Friend Codes]
Chi/Guel ~ 2320-5969-8730
List became too much to handle. Thread is now for just finding matches.
[/collapse]

Prefered ruleset is:

-Stocks
4

-Stage selection
Anything on first page

-Time
8min

-Items
No items except maybe a smash ball every now and then.
(If smash ball is on have it on low please)

(If I deny your attempt to join the game its just because im doing a 1v1 atm. No hard feelings <3)

Smart suggestion!

Its not mandatory but if you can please like the persons comment with their friend code if you have added them.

Lets not be lazy guys lets keep it organized!
I know all this might be a lot to take in being brand new to the game, but all of it is very useful (at least, it has been to me) in getting better at PM. Regardless of any of that, we are all our own best teacher, so as you play, learn to critique yourself and how you play. Why am I dying? What do I need to change up? Which moves do I need to use more, and which do I need to avoid? All this will contribute to becoming a better player. Good luck. :)

Oh, and ignore the part about adding all the listed FCs. That's obsolete now.

GGs @ waygu waygu . Those were some intense matches; it's always fun fighting someone who's not vastly superior to or below you in skill level (though you're still stronger, IMO). Thanks for the games, and the badass reverse Falcon Knees.
