also i dont want this to sound mean but do you know how to l cancel or was the lag making you miss all of them?

Not mean at all, to be honest I do know how to L-Cancel, but every time I go to apply pretty much anything I practice everything goes straight out of my brain when I get to an actual match. I've been trying to force myself into mindful playing but it's been somewhat of an uphill battle.

trust me the more you play the faster it will just fit itself into your play style. i only started playing this game seriously a couple of months ago a i would just shffl over and over again in the practice stage before games and now i just do it naturally. just keep practicing. another thing is that the timing for l cancels changes depending on if you hit someone or not. just something to think about.
