**In doubles Norfair takes the place of Warioland
- Striking for starters is 1-2-1
- Winner gets 2 bans
- For the first game character selection is blind pick and characters are selected before the game
- For Counterpicks, characters are chosen after a stage is chosen, the winner of the previous game must choose his/her character before the loser
- Gentleman's agreements are allowed
- A player cannot pick a stage that they have previously won a game on in the set, unless the opponent consents.
