Project M Channel for USB Loader

This will install a channel that will load Configurable USB Loader's backup of Brawl directly with codes enabled

https://www.mediafire.com/?agnd827uqhg7plt

It's based entirely on this channel by Haxxy, whose Mediafire link is unfortunately down http://youtu.be/yEzdF4APaA8
I just had a backup of it and replaced the Brawl- logo with the Project M logo

What you'll need:
Homebrew Channel
A way to install WADs (Multimod Manager, Modpack, WAD Installer)
Configurable USB Loader: http://gbatemp.net/threads/configurable-usb-loader.147638/
NO OTHER USB LOADER WILL WORK
Rename the folder apps/USBLoader to apps/usbloader_cfg/
also download the latest .dol here https://code.google.com/p/cfg-loader-mod/downloads/detail?name=cfg70MODr65.dol&can=2&q= and renamed it to boot.dol

The codes file from Project M also needs to be placed in the /usb-loader/codes folder on your SD card

All right well I tried it but I don't think I have things quite right.
In my SD card I have the folder usb-loader>codes>.gct file
Then I have configurable usb loader all set up with my backup of brawl. But I am not having any luck it just sends me back to the main wii menu.

Well, my disc drive is broken, so it allows me to play games :p

It also loads slightly faster and prevents odd-ball lag (changing costume colors after selecting character, Lylat background changes, Zelda transform)

FAT formatted drives have a maximum file
size of 4GB, and a scrubbed Brawl ISO is 6.93, so a full version couldn't even be put on a FAT drive.

I've used it on WBFS and NTFS drives successfully.

This is pretty nice it worked for me i just wish the channel was a bit nicer looking like that one someone else made. Does this load it on a differnt hook type or does it matter?

Hey so I'm doing all of this and the channel loads brawl just fine, but m isn't quite showing up. Pretty sure I did everything you mentioned, anyone know of a reason for it not loading the mod? Like some of the project m things are showing up in my regular brawl game (character select screen with all the pokemon, removed stages, etc.) but it's not loading the mod.

Edit: Does it matter if we're using hacked vs unhacked at all? Because right now I'm using hacked.

It should definitely be the hacked version. Hackless will cause a crash on stage select.

It sounds like it's loading the codes but not the files.
Everything from the Project M download should be on the SD root like normal. /projectm/pf/etc

So the only differences should be

usb-loader/codes/RSBE01.gct (copied from projectm folder)
apps/usbloader_cfg

Yeah I tried to recopy it over and it's still not happening. I'm going to delete some things off of my sd card and see if there's some interference with the loader or something.

quick question. how do i set up my 16gig drive to hold and run a brawl iso via wbfs, and at the same time run a gamecube iso via dios mios in fat 32 standard? how do i partition the drive so that both systems run safely?
because i keep seeing that dios mios must be active on the drive. i want them both to be active, and by extension working. i know its not my loader (cfg) so how can i set this up so they both play nice?

I tried applying this to my wii, but when I boot up the channel, it says "custom ios222 could not be found. Please install it."
When I tried booting from the usb loader itself on homebrew, it works fine.

I even tried to install ios222 from these links:
http://gwht.wikidot.com/ios236
http://gwht.wikidot.com/hermes-ios222-223

I'm stumped at what to do. Thanks in advance for the help!

Edit: Nevermind, I found a thing where I can combine the mod with the iso of Brawl.
