They already did.Awesome fan service. Now do a light suit![]()
See Sakurai? THIS is how you do alternate costumes.
Project M owning Sakurai once again.
We can only hope that Smash 4 can possibly have DLC alts?So beautiful.
I wish Smash 4 had alts like this.
The only others I could possibly ask for are Dark Bowser (BiS is too underrated), and DKC Cartoon "Expand Dong" Donkey Kong.
Seriously, if Project M adds in "Expand Dong" I will join the minority who thinks Project M is better than every Smash game.
I didn't say Smash 4 has no good alternate costumes/skins. But Project M does a way better job at it than Sakurai still.![]()

just saying :/
Sakurai and his team has a 3 year deadline on this game so they don't have enough time to do ALL the costumes/skinsI didn't say Smash 4 has no good alternate costumes/skins. But Project M does a way better job at it than Sakurai still.
Not a game though, a mod for a game. They've never have to worry about creating one from the ground up before.Project M excites me more than Smash 4 XD. A hack game somehow has more alt costumes added in a single update than an actual game with huge funding, top notch developers, and over 2 years to make it.
PM just gets prettier and prettier.
Basically this. People really need to understand the position Sakurai and his team got put in.Not a game though, a mod for a game. They've never have to worry about creating one from the ground up before.
And that funding and effort of the top notch developers you speak of goes to making an ACTUAL game. Compared to that, making alternate skins for characters on your free time is the easiest part. Kind of like giving whole credit to someone for repainting a house when they didn't build it.
And Brawl came out in 2008, and there was never post-release support intended for it; now we are in 2014 and it took this guys like 6 years after the game came out just to add this skins? They sure took their sweet time (See, I can play that game again).
Anyways, adorable how some people think they completely understand how game developing goes.

The hell are you talking about? People were making skins on Brawl Vault way before Project M was a thing. Not a game though, a mod for a game. They've never have to worry about creating one from the ground up before.

This all I want to say. Seriusly, these are really treating smash bros with a lot of care for being just a bunch of hackers. There really taking serius keeping smash like smash.Honestly, Nintendo should just hire the PM devs and add all this stuff as DLC for Smash 4.
We don't know. I'd assume by the end of the year, but there's no official statements on release date....Soooo when can we expect the next update to Project M? Just askin' because I am digging all of the work the backroom and designers are pouring into the mod and I'm anticipating being able to play it again with renewed hype. Kudos to y'all!
Apparently there are no issues ,according to Nano.So how does this costume affect Samus's shoulder hit boxes? I specifically remember PMBR saying they might not do this suit because it wouldn't match up properly to them
I would also like shrek goku reggie dedede masked dedede unmasked dedede and shadowI support the new Blue Samus, as the very thought of the coinciding costumes came to mind immediately. Samus could use a nice, deep-sea blue suit.
Suggestions for new costumes:
- Fierce Deity based on the existing OoT Link (Smash 4 has TP FD, PM would have a true MM FD).
- Hero's Shade from Twilight Princess; he is the Hero of Time from OoT, but appears in TP. Given Link's current costumes repping both games, it's very fitting. If necessary, it could replace gold Link as that may-have-slightly-been-the-inspiration for the palette swap.
- Proper Blood Falcon costume with the upturned collar, skull headpiece, and spiked pauldron.
- Donkey Kong Jr.
- Funky Kong Fashion for DK.
- Dr. Luigi (single costume would be fine)
- Tanooki Mario & Luigi
- Hammer Bros. Ice Climber costumes; Nana and Popo could wear shells & helmets!
- Waluigi Wario; Classic Wario with long sleeve purple shirt, dark denim, and the upturned L on his hat.
- Hylia Reborn, Zelda's Goddess attire from Skyward Sword, paired with...
- Sage of Shadow, Impa's Skyward Sword clothing for Sheik.
- Marcus McCloud and...
- James McCloud for Fox (father, son, and grandson).
- General Pepper's Uniform for Fox.
- Leon's Pilot Suit for Falco.
- Pikablu, a Marill-inspired skin for Pikachu (blue/white/red palette).
- And... Wind Waker Ganondorf.
Dude. It's gotta be a Chunky theme costume. Picture it. His hat, his shorts, and his shirt. Now I'm curious if Diddy could get a suitable alt...
Yeah! I like the sound of that.Dude. It's gotta be a Chunky theme costume. Picture it. His hat, his shorts, and his shirt.
Need this now!
You are too kind.I would also like shrek goku reggie dedede masked dedede unmasked dedede and shadow
