PROJECT 64 online: AND ALL THAT NONSENSE

I cannot seem to get online for PROJECT64k and play with all the other people -who can-. So, I need some help from some wisdom filled smasher who knows how to solve this problem. So basically, so I got this vid down and did all that for the start http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_TxfH9ftEU but then on the next vid (theres only 2) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_kEXPjfIHE I can't get it working. I just get and error and a "kerthump" noise from my computer. And, I don't even have the smash bros game on my computer the way he does all I have is banjo kazooie which doesn't play smash (Banjo and everything else talked about in first vid I put up:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_TxfH9ftEU)

If you haven't got SSB on your computer, you'll need to get that rom.

How do you get the ssb rom? And the sound is sort of a you do not have that file "bing" sort of noise.

You'll just have to find it on a website, I suggest you do a google search for "Super Smash Bros (U) [!]".

It's against the rules of this forum to provide links to roms / emulators, I'm afraid.

Yes the rom isnt hard to find, google is Roms best friend

ok. heres a noob question from someone who just came from a cave 50m below sea lvl (Hongkong)

when you go on kaillera, is it perfectly normal to join a random waiting game? or is it better to ask to play them first?
yes i never went on major smash servers since we have none in HK (350ping in major once arnt worth it). but now that im in canada and have 15ping i would like to start.

Yes it is o.k to just join random games, but expect to also get randomly kicked every now and then too, some games are private and people will kick you without warning sometimes...there times people will kick you just because Kaillera is full of bumfaces
