problem with waveshining

Ive been having this weird problem with waveshining lately and it just recently started happening. when im not waveshining somebody i can go back and forth on final destination no problem but as soon as i start waveshining somebody the second shine is an illusion instead unless im holding down perfectly. now as i said before ive been waveshining for quite some time and this has never happened until about a week ago does anyone know whats going on?

my first waveshines were also mixed with >b
but with much training i can now waveshine through Final Destination without >b move.
I think it's just a matter of time and training...

you may train waveshines with falco first since his waveshines are slower.

the problem is that ur pressing side-B instead of down-B. once u wavedash u have to do the down b.. didi help any?

yeah it was the controller i tried a different one and i can waveshine up and down final destination again.
