Problem with small icon for Lloyd

When I try to replace common5_en.pac > sc_selmap_en > MiscData[40] > InfStc.431 with a Lloyd icon (for Tales of Smash), it goes BEEEEEEEEE after selecting characters.

what is the icon size that you're using/what else do you have replaced in the common5?

I am also using this for the Classic life icon on the character select.

Other things changed are MenSelchrChrNm.431 under MiscData[30] under selcharacter_en, and MenSelChrNmS.044 under MiscData[70] under selcharacter_en.

Do you use gecko or riivolution and when exactly does it freeze? Right when you press start to go to the stage selection screen, right when it gets to the sss, or somewhere else? Also i think it doesn't matter for riivolution(but not 100% sure) but if you using gecko make sure that the file size for sc_selmap.pac isn't over 1.14MB or else the game will freeze.

ur selmap pac is too big.
it can't be over 1.16 MB or it WILL freeze like that. try exporting some images u don't care about from selmap, editing them in paint to reduce their size, them put them back in. you'd be amazed at how much the file size drops. :D

I use Riivolution. It freezes when right when I go to stage select.

I tried using the icon and it worked for me. Is there any other mods you have for the stage selection screen, like stage portaits or something? Also make sure your sc_selmap isn't over 1.16MB like darkrai said. Just in case you dan't know how to check to avoid more time taken you check its size by going in common5, right clicking sc_map, and clicking export(not export all). Then go to the folder and make sure its not over 1.16MB or 1,160KB.
