"Failed to allocate Memory"

any suggestions as to how to fix this?

if you're using Vista, good luck its buggier than a field of caterpies

if not Okaygo is the guy to ask on this =S He knows all the errors inside out, but i'd suggest either a reinstall/unzip or more memory XD

I'm not using Vista, tried reinstalling, and have 50 GB of free space. Still get the same error.

Nope. I just restarted the computer and it did nothing.

If I try Mupen 64k do I still get to connect to the same servers?

Awesome. Yeah, that worked. I basically doubled the Virtual Memory, so now it's running at "Total paging file size for all drives: 3500 MB." Is that going to be a problem for normal computer usage? Is that a lot more than necessary? Sorry for asking so many questions.

Okay WTF. It worked the first time I opened PJ64k, but then I closed the program. When I opened it again, the same error came up.

The paging file size should be at least the same as your current RAM or double of it.

if you got 512 RAM then the paging file should be arround 512 MB or 1024 MB (double of it), you can also try letting windows manage it.

Also make sure that you dont have Virus or Spyware on your system.

Tried all of the above and it didn't work. I'm not sure know why it worked that one time though...

I also tried out Mupen 64k and it worked. But when I played around with it, there was a lot of lag time between the button press and character action.

Any other advice?
