Problem solved, removing replay codes seemed to fix it.

Removing the replay codes solved the problem. For some reason they werent working anyway....

*Honestly I didn't do any research before making this thread, so this could be old....

Yesterday I installed Gecko OS and got some sweet textures hacks. It crashed a couple of times but after that I pretty had no incident for a while.

But then I picked Delphino plaza and something weird happened.

Everything is moving extremely slowly. The platform doesn't reach the plaza for about 2 minutes, and it lands slowly, and dissapears slowly.

I figured this may be JUST delphino but it turned out it wasnt. Halberd worked fine, but Port town Aero, and rainbow cruise moved like turtles....

Big blue is so slow that MK walks faster than the road moves.....

I can provide video footage if this hasn't been seen before, anyone know what may be amiss?

Give us a video. This shouldn't happen, and I am sure that none (or very few) of us have seen this happen.

Yeah, illi is probablyright. I am guessing some of your textures are messed up. Look in the Texture Database thread for my stage textures, which I have a lot of. I have almost every stage textured.

Thanks....for being extremely vague. >_>

How am I supposed to know which textures are glitched? And I only textured characters, no stages.

I have many characters almost completely textures but I dont have any other hacks on if that helps....

ediT: Video is in the works btw so hopefully it'll be up soon.

Man. That does not look pleasant. Anyway, your problem seems pretty unique, and I haven't ever come across anything similar.

Exactly which codes and which .gct method are you using?

Nope, it was the codes. =D

I just got rid of the tags in replays and infinite replay hack and it went away, all stages back up to normal speed. They werent working anyway.

The question now is why didn't they work (and instead cause massive slowdown on stages?).

They seem to be ocarina codes, does that mean they wont work with Just Gecko?

Does Brawl run fine normally? (i.e. without running it through HBC)

If it does, does it run normally if you disable the texture codes? If nobody smart pops in with advice, I would just try disabling each code in turn in order to find out which one (if any) is causing it, or maybe the HBC is screwing it up or something.
