I think this is one of the strangest things in melee is marth is known for having massive priority right? Most of his ground moves clank with pichu's jab the only moves without the unstoppable proity B that can beat pichu's jab is d-smash and f-smash so even up-smash clanks with pichu's jab and MOST of up-tilt seems to clank with pichu's jab. top half : P.
Maybe this knowledge could be useful when you're on a pltform nearly off and you could mash jab and if marth up-tilts/up-smashes you'll slide off makes me think G&W could use this with d-tilt could clank with everything and last a decent amount of time and maybe smack marth if he trys nair/upair.
But pichu's up-tilt clanks with a fully charged tippered F-smash which looks really cool but up-tilt clanks with jab and doesn't beat anything as far as I know take F-tilt is does all the same stuff but it beats firefox and as far as I know up-tilt can't and f-tilt seems to overall have the highest protiy for edge gaurd of the tilts. So I think there are like 3 normal levels of proity in ground attacks low, clanks with all(in normal/projectiles) and beats some moves.
However there are moves that can't be beaten by anything but non-needle proity projectiles so if you tryed to f-smash it you couldn't win outrange outrangeing which has nothing to do with priority.
There are moves that seriously lose to everything but are spammed all day long. Lasers, needles, and the moves that beat needles only are all very neat. But I worder if it's only 3 normal groups of priority or if there they have to have so big of a proity difference to beat each other. And what makes a move have high priority? Damage can't be the only thing because then tippers and charged smashes would have higher priority.
I may rank moves into groups minus moves with the whole body having inv. frames like rest, shines, pichu's d-smash and etc. and no air moves.
But I like the idea of how if marth uses an attack in perfect play pichu doesn't have to powersheild(even if that would let pichu land the hits) pichu could simply walk up and jab and tilt or jump over d-smash : P.
Priority is very neat.
