Y and L for everything. Except when I do Shine-bair, I jump with Up.

When I try to use R for fun, I'm not even able to L-cancel lol

I do this:

fullhop/shorthop: X

aerials: c-stick... except for nair or SHDF to the right... then i use A/Z...

smashes: c-stick... even the charged ones... (Z ftw)

l-cancel: Z

wavedash: X/Y and R... i kinda switch between X and Y randomly...

tech: R

throw: control stick=)

specials: B (i don't think nobody mentioned this=)...)

so... L is useless button on my controller... never use it... even if i set something there in "insert relevant version of brawl here"...

I said it once Ill say it again. I believe R is useless :p

I didnt even know you could throw with c-stick to be honest LOL
But R is the same as L, so through transitive property you're saying that L is also useless.

I use L for all sheilding n stuff, thinking about removing the spring from my R to use that for powersheilding.

Jump with Y mostly, sometimes slip into using X for waveshining, and use analog for doubleshines and instant uairs with falcon and the like.

L canceling with Z sounds godly. I'm going to have to try it.

lol I dont mean the action I specificly mean the button on right hand shoulder.

I do like that I never touch it because when the L button dies, I can probably just take the spring/pads etc from the R and switch it with the dead L side. XD

I've tried changing to jumping with Y recently and after 9 years of jumping with X or up it is less than easy....
