The event happens at about 1:25 when Ike uses his forward B in the air to land on a platform. It appears once he hits down on the platform he gets "wavedash like" properties, that might allow him to do other things while sliding on the platform. Could be useful to use the slide instead of grabbing the ledge and then use an up tilt while sliding, or maybe even something crazy like forward smash.

Can someone that has Japanese brawl test this out to see if you can attack during this or if it is just part of the forward B move? Because to me it doesn't look like he is doing the dash forward part of the move once he touches down, he is actually sliding, similar to a wavedash.

If you quick draw a bit off the ground, you get a slide, just like you saw.

Since it was a fully charged QD, he slide really far :D

Say Kirk, is there virtually any lag between quick draw ending and following up with the triple a combo? Or can the opponent simply grab or hit you before you follow up?

There is very little lag afterwards. More often than not, your opponent can't interupt. But if they can see it coming or w/e, they can attack before you can.

Sounds like it would be pretty situational to me, your opponent would usually see it coming if you had to charge it up.
