Possible Shadow/Silver Costumes??

Well this has been lingering on my mind since the Wario costumes update. If Wario can have a completely new outfit, why can't Sonic?

Honestly, people say it wouldn't work because of Sonic's voice-over and blue glow with his B-moves, but why not make a shadow outfit, Shadow vo, red glow, and same moves as Sonic.

It could save a spot on the roster by making cloned characters simply an alt. costume. Very possible and not far-fetched.

What do you think? Any objections?

First of all, I don't think you should have created this topic. Secondly, it wouldn't "save a spot" on the roster, because, Shadow will not -have- a spot on the roster.

Additionally, so far, all his costumes are shades of blue, so, yeah. We'll see.

I sincerely hope he doesn't get a Shadow skin, let alone a Silver one.

wario alone is special and it's sonic not silver not shadow sonic maybe colors like still sonic but say red with green red yellow shoes unchanged other than color

I'm also not talking about only Sonic. Various other characters could have clone-costumes (Fox/Falco, Mario/Luigi/Dr. Mario, etc.). And I still see no legitimate argument against it. Just some forced opinions of some overzealous pecimists. Is there any reason not to do this? "Not saying that will or will not."

some luigi fans will be pissed they are different characters as well like why ryu and ken aren't the same square in street fighter even tough they're pretty much the same

I see your point. I'm just saying cloned characters are certainly welcome (I understand Luigi is not a clone) but not if they will fill up the roster. Clone-costumes should have been a must. It would have easily catered to all of the fans whom wanted different versions of their favorite character. I.E. Cel Shaded Link, Raichu/other evolutions, or even Ness!!

well... Luigi is deffinitly not a clone... so yea, it would be stupid... it's like when I used Mario in he's alternate costume for Wario... it just wasn't Wario...

well... Raichu woudn't been an alternate costume for Pikachu... simply because he's heavier, slower, but stronger...

but yea, with Fox, you could have used an alternate costume like Wario... he changed he's outfit completly... that would make people able to choose theyre favourite StarFox member...

Falco, Slippy, Peppy and Fox... having the same atacks, but the different looks would give a feeling of controlling your favourite...

i pray every night they dont ruin sonic by giving him a alternate costume...

as for his colors the shading of blue did change a lil bit but also his shoes and the cuffs on his gloves changed color as well

pretty sure there was green,black,gold,white i dont remember blue or red but there probably was

in one of the videos he has shadow coloring, but im not sure if its an exact costume
