Possible Chicagoland tournament/smashfest

I'm thinking about hosting a tournament at a local church, but I need to know who would be interested, because I would probably be paying for the venue.

It would be at a church in a large gym, and I might be able to get them to let us use the projectors and we can display the finals on 2 large screens.

I think its a great idea. I was thinking about the same thing..but i didnt feel like putting forth the effort .

Predicted location would be great.

So is this still going to happen or not? I feel like a moron for missing the last Cave singles tourney, since I gave up 9 hours of work to go and then completely forgot what day it was, so I'd like to go to this.

yea, i'll agree. when we get a solid date and time i'd be down. i need more people to play against, my climbers need some more challenge, haha.

but yea, after the horrible COD tournaments we had around here, there hasnt been much smash action in the suburbs.
