Portland, Oregon Melee Scene?

So I'm looking at Lewis and Clark as a possibility for college next year, but I definitely am curious as to whether or not there is a melee community in the area. I like the city but if I could find some melee to satisfy my smash craving (brawl simply won't do) I would be stoked. Drop me a line if you dig melee and you're proximal to L&C or Portland.

Not to mention the Vancouver players are right over the river (grunt and a few others)

Oh and I think CAOTIC was supposed to move there this summer... the scene should be hella good after that

I'm at school in Idaho but live in Portland. If I'm ever in the area and have the opportunity I'll be up for some Melee.

Reed College is awesome, just thought I'd add that while I'm here. Most of the North Oregon stuff happens in Sherwood and very few of us drive/can drive.

Portland is mostly melee, corvallis+eugene are mostly brawl, so you picked the right spot.

We have a pretty nice melee scene here in portland. There is also a smaller but still decent scene in Corvallis. Also, we have WA come down pretty often to play with us. People like Eggz, Silent Wolf, etc are usually down to come to one of our tournaments.
