Event - Apex 2015 Policy on custom controllers?

Are custom controllers like painted controllers allowed at Apex or is there any policy for customs? Thanks

I am not Apex staff anymore, so I cannot officially answer the question. Typically the tourneys allow anything cosmetic as long as it doesn't change the function of the controller (fast button modding, turbo, etc). I do think short trigger mods are accepted but thats about it.

What's a short trigger mod? What about removing the spring from L/R (or is that short trigger)?
