Pokkén Tournament Pokkén Arcade Update: Darkrai, Wii U fighters, and more!

a new character has been announced during the Nico Video stream today. Darkrai, as well as the previously unavailable Pokémon, Shadow Mewtwo, Garchomp and Braixen, are joining the arcade version of Pokkén on July 20th. A new mode called Mission Panel will also be added at the same time.

Nothing has been announced for the WiiU version so far, but it's safe to assume that we'll learn more about that in the coming weeks.

Noticing how the red dots appear when Darkrai uses certain moves, maybe like Calm Mind in terms of setup?

Really hoping he's a free update with that panel arcade mode that got revealed as well.

They can be consumed for a double stat boost (ala Braixen's Sunny Day or Pika Libre's cheering), as seen here around the 7:50 mark.

only other thing I can think of that has build up points like that is Stockpile and Swallow... the double buff happened at full HP, but who knows, maybe it might also affect recoverable HP.

According to the translation notes, it adds a buff for Attack and Defense.

I think the closest thing it could be out of Darkrai's learnable move pool is Nasty Plot
