No it wouldn't, because they also used Charizard . So obviously we've got two motifs going... the three original starters, and one of the three phases each.

While I hate to close this because I whole-heartedly agree with Kentalicious (why Ivysaur, why not Bulbasaur, he's so much cooler, put Wartortle in instead!), I have to.
