Bahaha. Why an 11 year old kid decides to make a video of Pikachu electrocuting a defenceless Magikarp is beyond me, but I love it.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
told you it was bad.
come on man, this was a long time ago!Bahaha. Why an 11 year old kid decides to make a video of Pikachu electrocuting a defenceless Magikarp is beyond me, but I love it.
You got it all wrong though. In actual fact Magikarp would have used splash all over that Pikachu making him regret ever coming out of that pokeball!
It wouldn't of had any effect and he still would have been thunderbolted to death... but still..
Whisker power! How can a carp hold items in Super Smash Bros.? Nintendo Logic?
Why not a trainer class, eh?
[collapse=Fisher]Fisher (they'll be a male and female alt)
Pokemon rotation (I was tempted to pick only Magikarp, but I want to be somewhat serious with this one) --> Magikarp, Frillish (Male Frillish for fisherman, female for fisherwoman lol), Quagsire
So yeah, the Fisher would be similar to Pokemon Trainer, except he uses water type pokemon. Magikarp would be a joke character but it would be hard to master. Once you do, however, it would be one tricky character to beat. Frillish would be nimble and float since it's part ghost. And Quagsire would be a pretty bulky fighter.[/collapse]
How does Magikarp learn Hydro Pump? I never heard of the moves Flail and Bounce because I only played 1st and 2nd generation Pokemon games.Moves Magikarp can get:
Splash, Tackle, Flail, Bounce, Hydro Pump
I remember Pokemon Stadium when I was in 4th grade. I definitely remember the Magikarp splash. My favorite mini game was Lickitung Sushi game.Who remembers this?
Like this?Final Smash: Evolve into Gyarados, who will then.....
have an angry Magikarp come out of its mouth and stare at everyone, which causes an automatic KO to every opponent on the screen.
A special level 99 golden Magikarp given away in a Japanese event has it:I think you can get Hydro Pump by Breeding
I've found there's actually a few more:Moves Magikarp can get:
Splash, Tackle, Flail, Bounce, Hydro Pump
What like so super and poison shrooms wont change his power?Would it help if I mentioned that any Pokemon with the Unaware ability is not affected by any stat changes that Magikarp might have?
I thought of a way to balance that final smash. Gyarados is huge and is ridiculously hard to KO traditionally but has a health meter so you need to be aggressive and close the distance lest the opponent chip damage you to death. Also just to keep the idea of weak to strong, Magikarp's side B should be Tackle.B Neutral - Flail
Magikarp wildly flails about in random directions harming anyone who comes into contact with him.
B Up - Bounce
Can be learned by tutoring in the generation 5 games. Magikarp bounces high into the sky damaging anyone who gets in his way.
B Across - Hydro Pump
Is known by a special Japanese event Magikarp. Magikarp shoots a powerful blast of water out of his mouth.
B Down - Splash
Magikarp used Splash. But nothing happened!
Final Smash - Evolution
Magikarp evolved into Gyarados! Magikarp will remain as Gyardos until he's defeated or the match ends.
Stage Entry
Magikarp will be unleashed from a Pokeball by a man holding a 'For Sale 500' sign.
Gyarados's moveset
B Neutral - Hyper Beam
Hold B to charge Gyarados's Hyper Beam and release to fire. Similar to Samus's charge beam attack.
B Up - Waterfall
Same as Squirtle's Waterfall, but more powerful
B Across - Surf
Gyarados will briefly ride across the screen on a huge wave damaging anyone in its path.
B - Down - Twister
Gyarados will summon a twister that'll quickly fly across the screen.
Final Smash - Dragon Dance
Gyarados will perform a bizarre dance and will then briefly become twice as fast and powerful.
Nah, Tackle is what all his A attacks would be.I thought of a way to balance that final smash. Gyarados is huge and is ridiculously hard to KO traditionally but has a health meter so you need to be aggressive and close the distance lest the opponent chip damage you to death. Also just to keep the idea of weak to strong, Magikarp's side B should be Tackle.
