mispelled the title, my bad ><

the first generation of pokemon was present in SSB,
then the second and first where in SSBM,
most obvious the third will be present in SSBB

but what about the fourth one?

the fourth PKMN generation games (diamond and pearl) are coming April22 i think
it may be a high chance SSBB comes after these games

do you think Nintendo will include these PKMN in SSBB?

Discuss :)

4rd???

anyway... I dont see why not. Since diamond and pearl are coming out before brawl, some people may be disappointed if they dont see some of the 4th gen in there...

"Some people" are not designing SSBB :D

You have to remember it's not always about the faint whims of the fanbase. The developers have crowded conference rooms full of suits pushing them to finish on time. They will be hard pressed if they do not work with the pre-production team of the new pokemon games as well, with quite some time to spare.

Maybe they've already incorporated them in. After all, it's not like they don't know about them already. (they created them)

Kid Smash, it's 4th generation, not 4rd. I just wanted to point that out.

Anyway, lets see....I guess to make the 4th generation of pokemon that much more popular, they would have to mostly incorporate mostly 4th gens to come out of pokeballs. It's like advertising. What I'm trying to say is that if the 4th generation turns out to be a huge disapointment like how the 3rd generation was somewhat, then chances are that there will be no need to incorporate a 5th generation.

Lucario is the biggest pokemon candidate for a brawl spot, and a large amount of people have bought there DS and have been waiting for D/P. Plus Pokemon Battle Revouloution is coming out for the wii as well. The 4th generation has officially arrived, and Nintendo will represent that in brawl.

yeah, Poke D/P have been out for a while in Japan, same with battle revolution. I think it'slikely you'll see at least one in a ball. WHoever said that "they know about the 4th gen pokemon because they made them" is wrong. The dev teams for the games are separate. It's not like nintendo will look at one dev teams pokemon, and then take them over to sakurai and say, take your pick. They're not heading the developement, sakurai is. I think sakurai would only take pokemon from released games. Of course, since we've already established the games are out in Japan, this argument is null, but the point still stands.

Or not...>.>...*flees*.

The pefect new 4th gen pokemon for the pokeballs.

Darkrai

It is the first Dark-type legendary Pokémon.

Darkrai resembles a ghost. Parts of its form seem to trail off into nothingness. It appears to have no feet, although it is able to extend stilt-like appendages from its torso. It possesses the power to lure people into deep sleeps and show them dreams. On nights of the new moon, when it is active, it shows horrible dreams.

I was thinking it could do Nightmare on every one. first he pops out and puts every one to sleep (near him) and starts to take damage while asleep. the sleep will last longer even if you are barely hurt. Damage will stop as soon as you wake up.

Dialga

Dialga is one of the legendary Pokémon in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. Its Steel and Dragon type combination makes it resistant to many other types, and this type combination is a first in the Pokémon world.

Dialga learns Time Roar, a new move that could be called its "signature move"; it is basically a Dragon-type version of Hyper Beam, a move that deals tremendous damage but requires the user to recharge during the next turn.

So He can use time Time Roar and fire a huge blast.

Palkia

Palkia also has a "signature move", introduced in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, called Space Break; it is a Dragon-type move with 100 base power, 95 accuracy, and a high critical hit ratio, which could be seen as a Dragon-type version of Lugia's Flying-type move Aeroblast, although instead of a beam it slashes through space.

So Palkia can use Space Slash. Palkia will go in the background and Slash across the feild.

Arseus

Arseus is theoretically the strongest of all Pokémon, with the highest combined stats of any existing Pokémon.

Arseus' signature move, Judgement Pebble, works hand in hand with these plates, changing type depending upon the plate held. Arseus is also the only one who can learn this move.

Oh by the way Arseus is 10 feet and 6 inches tall.

So Arseus could use Judgement Pebble. and all the types of pokemon would appear on the plates and start to spin and which ever type it lands on he will do the most powerful attack of it.

The pefect picks for the next gen.

I meant that because they were apart of nintendo, they knew about them already, and that the game WOULD BE RELEASED by the time Brawl comes out.

All true. 3rd generation was the worst out of them all (not that it was bad, just the others were better, mainly because before third, getting every pokemon without a gamesark was not next to immpossible, except Mew and Celebi) but 4th has some cool pokemon and D/P sound like good games so I don't think 3rd gen will get much representation in brawl.

RVD fan, where did you get that tight signature of Omega Shenron? Sweetness!

Lets see....I was really impressed with all legendary pokemon that is going to be on Diamond/Pearl, but my favorite is that Ghost/Dragon type pokemon Giratina. His background is awesome too. It is said that he comes from a dimension totally opposite of the human world. So mysterious! He also has his own patiented move called Shadow Drive which he disappears for one turn and then he attacks with tremendous energy & power the following turn. All and all, I hope he comes out of a pokeball in Brawl. That would be amazing!

Yeah, he looks awesome unlike Palkia. He looks so cripple & elderly. That's exactly why I'm picking up a copy of Diamond only. That is, whenever it comes out.

Diamond is my birthstone so that is why i will get diamond.

It is stupid that there is only one team on both games insted of one per game. It's team galaxy.Wich should refer to peral for palkia is the space pokemon.Diamond should have team chronos because dialga is the time pokemon.

Sweetness Wrath, it's your birthstone. I think mine is aquamarine, but I'm not entirely sure.

Game Freak probably doesn't want to make the same mistakes that they did with Team Aqua & Magma. I'm sorry but I think having to Team's on different games was lame. Also, the developers at Game Freak were thinking in the gutter for taking off the day & night feature off of Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. I'm glad that the feature is making it's return to Diamond and Pearl.

More likely, yes cause Johto was a region that was an instant classic. I bet you that they will make a revamped game focused on Johto.

When super smash brothers melee came out.. wasnt the third generation of pokemon coming out soon after?...

It's the same deal this time round too so I dont know if we are going to be seeing the ford generation of pokemon. Not to meantion a cast of voice actors would have to voice theses pokemon (which havent appeared on the pokemon anime series which means they have no idea what they sound like, Oh & they havent even fully translated the ford pokemon generations names into English yet, so how could they possibly!!!!?)
