why is mewoth the only pokemon to be able to talk how come that came to be.

There was an episode on this. Basically, there was this girl Meowth he liked who belonged to a rich trainer.
She thought she was too good for him or maybe Meowth thought he wasn't worthy. I cant remember, but the first one sounds right.
He got the idea that being able to speak and stand would make him more elegant or something so he practiced for a long time. In the end, she thought he was a freak, but not in a disturbed way. More of a "You're strange so I'll just run off with this Persian who isn't quite as cool as you, but at least he's normal."
Other pokemon are lazy bums. I say we abuse them until they get with the program. Humans>Pokemon (except mewtwo, that psycho beast)
