First and foremost: I'm not a very emotional man at all, nor do I have any head issues like autism.

But I want everyone to know, I spilled actual tears while watching this video the first few times as soon as it was posted. After almost 4 years of playing this game, I can't wrap my head around the fact that it is actually almost done. I mean I'm sure there might be a couple small things later on like bug fixes and balance tweaks, but overall, this is it, guys. We have a game that's better than any other game in the official franchise, on top of being better than probably all future official titles, too. No more getting over hyped with the three friends I play with every single time something shows up. No more wondering when the rest of my "main" characters will be implemented. It's all over. I'm eternally grateful for everything the team has done, as well as the strength of the community that keeps everything going with tournaments and smash fests and stuff. This is by far the most fun fighting game I've ever played, and I say that with confidence as I play Blazblue and Guilty Gear for money.

I was really emotional, too. During the trailer (when we had stopped screaming about Yoshi and stuff) I even said to my brother "wow, isn't this sad? It feels like the end of something really great." But he made me feel better by saying "no way, this is only the beginning!"

That trailer music was so good. It really made it feel like the culmination of a long journey, which was exactly what they were trying to invoke, I think. =)

I don't visit 4chan because that place is nothing more than a sorry cess pool and a waste of domain space.

Don't feel bad. I have mild autism and I didn't cry, I just felt the biggest feeling of elation and relief watching the trailer. It's okay to be emotional every once in a while, even if it's over something people usually only JOKE about crying about. The last time I cried tears of sadness and joy (yes you can have both) is when I saw that fanmade compilation of Jon's moments from Game Grumps in the wake of his leave. I didn't expect it, but near the end of the video I choked up. Though I was sad at Jon leaving, I was still happy knowing that Jon meant a lot to a lot of people, even if he was just one of two guys joking and ******* around to video games.

So what I'm getting at is that you tearing up to the trailer isn't really abnormal even for stoic people. We all need our emotional outlets, whether we anticipate them or not, whether it's "important" or not, and whether we're hard and gruff or loose and free.

You can't tell, but in the trailer's wake I'm giving everyone here a virtual celebratory hug :)

Anyway, FINALLY, A BALANCED YOSHI WOOT

My biggest disappointment with the video was that Yoshi still does not have an actual up-b, so the times that he gets hit out of his double-jump offstage he is completely dead. Although I'm not sure about his Egg Roll that might alleviate much of the pain.

That said, I have nothing else to say of a negative matter as this trailer was extremely exciting to watch and has me very excited.
Kirby has a freaking side Final Cutter and he's good! I don't have to play 64 anymore with its horrendous engine!
Ice and Plasma! Samus with Ice and Fire and Crawl! with a Crawl Attack!
Yoshi jumps out of shield, who would've thought that?

Needless to say: Hype

more hype.... FREAKING MORE HYPE!!!!!!!!

I think Yoshi's recovery will be a good deal better now that Egg Roll isn't useless to the point of absolute hilarity. Plus, I was checking a match between CMart and GIMR, and it looks like Yoshi was given Ness and Lucas style DJC options, the way his aerials were floating like a Mewtwo. That alone, combined with his fantastic aerials, gives me hope that his second jump won't be as "meh" as Melee.

I really don't appreciate you referring to autism as a "head issue". Not everyone's neurotypical.

As for the trailer, I am quite hyped to play with everyone. I do wish they'd give Yoshi his peace sign for one of his taunts though, not really fond of the Brawl ones.

Despite what you appreciate or not, autism is a brain problem no matter how you put it.

Right, but now he can do rising aerials. That's gotta count for something.
He still always could.

It's demeaning to put it that way, and some of us (myself included) have distant forms of autism. I'm asking you to be more respectful since we have to work harder in social situations but excel in others.

No it's not. It is what it is, and no matter how you put it, it all means the exact same thing.

OP should had never referenced a social disorder in the first place. He could have just as easily said "Now I dont easily get emotional, but..." and left it at that. There was no real reason for people with autism to be singled out, lots of people cry for different reasons.

Let's not make this a thread about political correctness and Autism, this isn't the place to get in an argument about it.

Ehhh i can see where the autism peeps are comin' from but i can see he meant no harm. It wasn't appropriate, but I doubt i'd care if i had autism. I have some social disorders people make jokes on and personally i could care less o_o
