Brawl's TCP/IP handling is rather underwhelming in that lag spikes and high latency are common among those with even lightning fast connections.

Ehhhhh...i agree with what DrinkingFood said but without the ******* vibe. I have a matchmaking chat and the players there do enjoy having tournaments, so if you're interested drop by. They're schedule to happen every weekend now.

Playing online is fun to do and with the newer code actually feels like it has dropped serious input lag. With a good blue or green connection you can play comfortable without a feeling of little-no change. I wouldn't take online too serious though but if nobody is near you it's an extremely fun thing to do. Especially hanging out with the people in Xat.

AllIsBrawl does have both a tournament system and a Brawl Mods chatroom (also a tournament-running chatroom). If you wanted to host one you could set it up there, maybe even a few days ahead of time if you wanted to maybe attract more people.
