PM Launch Freezes Wii?

I downloaded Project M 3.6 today. I deleted all my custom stages, formatted my SD card to FAT32, and it worked fine the first time I launched it. However, every time since then, when I go to Brawl's stage builder, it (and the Wii) freezes completely and I have to unplug to turn it off. I've redownloaded PM onto the SD card with the same effect. I have no idea what caused it. Any thoughts?

First, start Brawl (through the Wii menu). Then hit start once you see the intro come on (so you're now on the main menu). The code should now be initializing. Wait about 15-30 seconds for the code to load. THEN go to Stage Builder.
