Sup.
I been playing Super Smash Bros for years since it first came out in '99.
I have Project64k emulator and I play online A LOT.

Anyway, have you guys ever played against anyone who beating you nearly perfect?
I looked into more of this and theres a method called frame by frame which is like a slowdown.
Is it possible to do this on the Project64k emulator online?

If so, is the people I played who played this well was frame by frame cheating or just plain have mad skills?

*Edit*
If its possible to do frame by frame on project64k, how do you do it? (I wanna try to speedrun)

Sure, you can play frame-by-frame, if you want to play at like 1fps.

Which means your opponent would have to be playing at 1fps.

Which I'm guessing nobody wants to do.

Um, bro, you do realize that you're playing in the same time as them? So, if they were going really slow (which is possible) your game would be going equally slowly and you'd have the same advantages as them.

Don't worry about the mad skillz. We all feel that way when we first go online.

People beating you ≠ TAS

It's just that many people have been religiously playing ssb for years now and can combo extremely proficiently, especially against those who don't DI.

It's called Frame advance, You use it on Mupen emulator and you use save states to redo what ever you messed up on, Sort of like drawing a picture. It's impossible for a human to react fast enough to every single frame, You can get good enough to know what you need to do at what point's but that's from experience.

Go play malva00 on P2P

It's like filming a movie, its not real, its staged, you can't do it live vs another player.

im mostly amazed that someone can actually consider the possibility of the opponent slowing down his version of the game while yours play full speed

what he meant was: != ≠ ≠

And yeah, smakis, I'm equally confused. Time machines, maybe? It seems obvious to me.
