Before anyone says stuff about my rolling, I noticed that he had trouble against rolling in the first 1 or 2 games, then he caught on to it and punished me in the end. Ending to game 3 is hilarious. Oh, and I tried the search feature to look for my old offline vids thread but could never find it so I just made a new one. This was like a month ago btw, it took a long time to get them up, and I have more coming against GA's best MK.

You need to stop shielding right at snake. You might get him a few times with the spotdodge, but most of the time you'll eat a grab or ftilt. You can't beat snake if you are that close to him. Run away, watch how many times you got grabbed because you spotdodged or just tried to hit him close up.

Another thing, next time I'm enforcing Dave's Stupid rule, I didn't do it this tournament nor the last one I Vs him because I usually go about even with him and we were 2-1 on it in my favor in the tournament before this one. I just didn't want him going to some stupid stage like brinstar against me, but then I remembered he was from FL =D

One thing about SHfair- if you're gonna use it, FF it too! There are 0 drawbacks to doing so, as all it's doing is essentially l-canceling the aerial and allowing you to go on the offense more quickly

Another thing, Chops seemed to play the "safe" dthrow techchase game.

dthrow > hold shield >
if they roll behind, ftilt

if they get up > regrab

if they get up attack > jab > grab

if they roll away > dash attack


Funnily enough, rolling behind is going to be your best bet, if you know how to SDI through Snake's ftilt. A good way of doing it would be to roll behind Chops, and in anticipation of his ftilt, start QCDIing towards him, and SDIing into him as well. Next thing you know, you're behind him, usmashing the **** out of his broken *** XD

Unfortunately not, every char can dash grab the lag even if you fast fall it. Snake can dash attack, or simply ftilt it if it hits his shield. Even though there appears to be no lag, that falling animation is treacherous despite being fast-falled.

I'm just telling him to FF it because he seems to have the same habit as I do of loving to fair ;P It's a risk, and typically it pays off (he's not mindlessly throwing it out there, mind you) but you make a good point in that when he ISN'T successful, he IS punishable. Just when he FFs the fair, he'll be making himself LESS punishable by doing so

FF fair is never safe against snake. he can f-tilt, DACUS, Dash attack, or dash grab as ADHD mentioned. Just dont do it. Theres much safer beneficial options...like side B
