Played 3 hours of demo, learned stuff

My local shopping plaza had a smash demo setup this weekend. It wasn’t advertised and so there were no lines.

I played for 3 hours straight uninterrupted against my friends.

While most things are known already, I did learn something new.


You can stationary air dodge without any free fall afterward.

If you airdodge in any direction off the edge you will likely die. If you simply airdodge without putting in a direction you can recover almost straight after.

oh, good! i was worried edgeguarding would be too much to handle in ultimate, with the amount of lag the directional airdodges give.
