Likely already discovered, though I've never heard of it.

Young Link's D-air is a laggy move. Even L-cancelled, the move has visible and punishable lag. But there's a different kind of cancel for this move that almost completely removes lag; I've called it platform-cancelling because you need a platform in order to do it.

Here's what you do:
-Use Y.Link's D-air above a platform while drifting toward one of its edges.
-Land exactly on the edge of the platform while drifting away from it.
-If it worked, you should almost instantly start falling off the platform, with all your jumps intact.

If I actually did stumble on something undiscovered, one of Y. Link's few KO moves actually became a fairly safe attack.


Try it, it does work. Of that I am certain.
