I gotta tell you folks, if there's one game I like better than Smash, it's Tetris Attack. When the DS came out a few years ago, I dreamed of how awesome Tetris Attack would be. With the release of Pocket Puzzle League, all of my wildest dreams have come true.

If you have a DS and you like puzzle games, this is a required purchase.

Anyway, the MAIN reason I made this thread is to find other people who play this game. I should warn the potential challenger that I'm pretty good at this game. That said, hopefully someone wants to play me on this game, so I'm not just obliterating random people over Wifi.

wait, this is tetris attack? i heard somewhere that its a different game...please tell me that you dont HAVE to use the stylus.

if you dont, then ill probably get it. tetris attack is amazing. it only looks like it goes about 10 blocks high though (maybe less), which i wouldnt like...not enough blocks for chains. well big ones at least. oh well.

EDIT: ok, just did some research stuffs. ill definitely be getting this really really soon. like tommorow soon. hopefully.

This game looks pretty great, I have to say - though I've never played a puzzle attack game before.

As a Tetris DS addict, I was wondering: how does Planet Puzzle Leauge compare to Tetris DS in terms of control, variety of modes, etc?

and that was you i played anyway, right? good matches, although i suicided once...hahaha. and yeah those 8 wins were the first 9 matches i played online. im at almost 50 wins now.

This game is probably one of the better games out for the DS right now. Even if you're not a big fan of puzzle games, this one might get you hooked. It's just that addictive. And no, you don't have to play holding the DS like a book or use the stylus. You can play it the old fashioned way. There are pros and cons for each playstyle, but most people will probably go with the old way.

what the heck??? i was just on wifi doing that birthday battle stuff, and i think the guy i was facing was using hacks...both our difficulties were on hard. i beat him, and he shut off his system right when it ended (disconnected). i played another match afterwards just to see if maybe i had hit a point where the matches were all hard difficulty (after getting so many wins maybe), but it was at normal speed again. has this happened to anyone else?

EDIT: it just happened again with a different guy. wtf.

I think if you win a lot it starts pairing you up with better people that they think are worthy to play on hard.
