Pit Problems

In the short - hes fast, little to no lag after aerials, spammable arrows and 2 reflectors... whats the trick - approaching him is always a nightmare b/c of fsmash (it can be spammed...) Anyone got him down?

Camping is not what you should worry about; DF can trade hits with his arrows just good enough to make him want to approach you, not to mention Nayru's Love will further decrease his camping effectiveness.

What really threatens Zelda from Pit is that he can get you on the air, and Zelda sucks big time with an opponent below her. Get used to airdodging, shielding, and using FW mindgames to mess him up.

Pit is incredibly light, so you should have little trouble KO'ing him once you rack up some damage, which is the challenging part. Learn to DI well, or his abilities, namely f-b will mess you up.

If you also have the time, learn Shiek: He is faster than Pit and can combo the hell out of him before you transform back to Zelda and go in for the kill.

Tips:

Naryu's love if he tries to arrow-spam.

Din's fire can't properly be blocked by either of his reflectors, just go a little behind him.

Din's fire is also good at getting KO's on him. Hit him if he tries to glide, hit him with it again if he tries to up B.

If pit comes from above, upsmash or upair. If he comes straight at you, shieldgrab or hit him with one of your quick moves: Jab, dtilt, dsmash, dash attack. Forward Smash also makes a decent approach stopper against shorthopped aerials. Naryu's love with proper timing is decent as well.

Basically, Zelda is one of the few characters that can out-camp Pit. Take advantage of this.
