Pinnacle/Dazzle Issues

hi guys!

i'm having some issues with the pinnacle software and/or the dazzle itself, not quite sure which.

whenever i attempt to capture video, one of two things happen:

if i attempt to do so in .avi format, the video desyncs in this weird fashion, stopping and starting seemingly at random. audio gets wildly out of sync.

if i attempt to do so in .mpeg format, the video runs absolutely perfectly, except for sporadic black flashes that come and go at random.

here's a video to demonstrate what i'm talking about:

Coney [Wolf] vs GIMR [Ness]

please ignore the completely ridiculous stuff that happens in this video. why is it flashing like this? anyone have an answer?

also, it's only capturing audio from one side apparently. whassapwitdat?

and it's not that my computer can't handle it...i've turned the settings all the way down, all the way up and everything in between, that doesn't seem to be the issue. plus my computer itself is pretty powerful, so i don't think that's it...

any ideas?

i did, i've gone through it several times and the result is the same: on AVI format, no matter the quality, desyncs. on .MPEG format, no matter the quality, blinking.

I can't watch the video right now because I'm capped, but is that video you've uploaded uncompressed?

Give us a low-down of all the settings and equipment you're using
