pillaring sheild

when pillaring someones shield do you have to space it correctly on a certain part of the sheild?
i occasionally get sheild grabbed somehow even though i never miss the l cancel and alwasy fast fall it.

your aerial should hit very close to the ground.

you want to hit the bottom of it

You should fast fall you your arial faster so that you can get ur shine out quicker.

if you do it too early hitstun ends before you even touch the ground to shine and makes you grabbable you can try nairs and see if you get shiedl grabbed lol

My only issue with this is knowing when to stop. I always expect them to keep shielding, then my shine hits and there I am, way down there... still pressuring no one's shield. Either that, or I think the shine will hit... and I'm way up in the air... and they're on the ground. Balls.

lol i was playing a lot today with my friends and i can tell you that well spaced shffle nair shine approach is excellent for starting combos i just love to bait my opponents into a fsmash or simply shffle nair>waveshine back>grab
