Pikmin priority

In an olly ditto match with a friend last night, we were messing around and decided to fight with only one pikmin each. I had plucked a purple one while he plucked a blue. We both tried to approach using fair and I was the only one who got hit. After that I tested some other moves with him (fsmash) and found that blue pikmin out-prioritize purple ones.

Has the priority of pikmin been tested yet? I havent found anything on the priority of them and I was under the assumption that purple pikmin had the most priority out of all of them. Apparently I'm just wrong though.

You know, I don't think there has been any testing on that. I'd have to put my money on this order though: Yellow Pikmin, Blue Pikmin, Purple Pikmin, Red Pikmin, and White Pikmin. I was also doing Dittos last night, and I plucked a Purple Pikmin verses a Blue one, I was outprioritized. Maybe you should be the one to get some data.
