I thought that it would be cool if Olimar's down taunt would release the red spray from pikmin 2 on the pikmin in line so that they would get a slight damage, knockback, and speed boost for like 10-15 seconds. The spray should take about 30-40 seconds to be used again. I think that this would make up for the fact that leaf pikmin are kinda weak and it takes time for them to gain power. Any thoughts?

I think it's a cool concept, but I don't know about this being in the game.
Yeah, it may stray too far from melee, but the PMBR gave samus the taunt mechanics so it may be possible.

If anything, his taunt could reduce the time it takes for the Pikmin to flower by 3 Seconds each time it's used. Probably asking too much though.
