idk but that happened to me during an online match about 2 months ago. only ever had it happen once but i was using up-B towards the right ledge just like in the video

It's probably like a pixel perfect thing, up-b'ing down and left into the right edge. I've had it happen to me on keyboard, though, so at least you know it's not a weird angle or anything.

It has something to do with floor interaction if I remember correctly. The same thing can be experienced through sliding characters like Jigglypuff, or Fox's lasers at a really specific height on Hyrule's floor. Lasers will pass through players feet.

This is exemplified in Jel's video where pikachu's specific height along the stage allows him to teleport across. Smash64 has really bugged/weird interacting surfaces.
