We have started a pika chat room through meebo.com, the link is:

there is a password, and you can ask for it! So yeah, lets do this, got some fun stuff goin on

good idea right? well credit goes to stealth to make it open to more than just a select few, however Gallax had the idea to use this to talk all at the same time not on a forum, so he gets credit too!

I will point this out, we have a new chatroom open to the public at http://xat.com/chat/room/37180170/. while it is a High Voltage thread, people are welcome for small talk, talk about pikachu, and the like. unlike meebo, we do have mods, so any trolls will be kicked. meebo will be our private chatroom from now on.

Honestly, it seems a bit conceited to me to have a public and private chatroom held separately, as it sorta defeats the purpose of having the chatroom in the first place, which is to bring people together to discuss topics in real time and ask for help with things.

Perhaps a completely public chat (not just a version for the "commoners") would be more suited for a general Pikachu discussion chatroom? I can tell you from experience that if you lock everyone out like this, the chat WILL die quickly. Just look at what happened to the Pit chat... <<

The chats are HIGH VOLTAGE chats...

They are for our clan, not for pikas in general. (not that we wouldn't let you guys chat with us. they are just MENT for us.) Although anyone who knows the name pikachu could probably crack the password for the private chat...

Why would we need them to be public?

However we only use the public one now. so don't worry about it.
