Todays update informed us of the use of stickers, other than just pretty little pictures for your digital scrapbook.

Apparently the stickers will give extra powers if you stick em on the bottom of a trophy. This will only have affect on your character in the SSE, so not in online/multiplayer brawls.

Personally im very happy this won't have any affect on the multiplayer battles, what do you think?

Sakurai says it won't be used in "standard brawls" hopefully there is a special mode where you can play with the "power-ups" you have on them. It would also goes with what Famitsu said about this game "everytime you play this game it's new experience." or something like that. I mean it'd be awesome for characters with obvious weakness's: Bowser slow/ use speed stickers, Zelda's non magic attacks too weak/ use attack stickers, kirby too light/ use hard to knockback and weight stickers. I can't wait to customize my favorite character to make them pwn even more!

Having the option to use overpowered items=good
Not giving the same option for static enchantments=bad?

Can it really be that worse than golden hammers & hearts?

That would be fun if they made a special brawl for sticker use!

i think i have to agree with 1ofmanyppl. Having an option to also be able to brawl WITH sticker powerups would be great. It basicly is just as great as having the option of turning items on/off.

No interference of obviously overpowerd chars in official matches, but the ability to mix it up a little in fun matches. With the use of transferring your control options with the wii-mote, one might also think it could be possible to take 'assigned stickers' with you. which might create the possibility of a whole new side tournament (like low tier). Maybe an additional side event could be formed with personally adjusted characters, even though when all stickers are known and the best combination is out there, chances are everyone will have the same combination.

I think that... everyone should save their discussions for the Dojo update thread when it appears. There are already multiple ones posted here by unique users.
