I always found it a pain to smash the opposite direction when reverse SHLing so i kinda accidentally found a better way. Note that this only works with old controllers with a super loose control stick.

Jump away from your opponent, but make sure that you flick the control stick to the side instead of manually moving it

When you fire a lazor, it will automatically fire the other direction because the flick + the super looseness will make the control stick backfire or recoil the other direction before the lazor comes out.

your way is much harder because it requires a completely worn out joystick. so if you forget, lose, or break your current controller than you're SOL

errr.. again someone please tell me the "real way"? im a little confused. . .

my controller isn't worn out, it's only acouple months old, but the way i do it is. . . err, let's say.. run away, then short hop, flick the control stick towards them and shoot.

Now, is that the "real way" or the way that wazgood said? :\

real way = jump forward, push analog stick other way and shoot! then ff
rofl..? uhm, i really don't see a difference in the 2 XD except that i don't PUSH the analog, if I did.. i'd probably end up forward B'ing.. like i said before, i flick it... which just makes me turn around.

"real" way? or.. the way that wazgood is explaining?

The way the OP mentioned is easier for Moving RSHL. That's how I do it, I think.. Don't really know how I do it. haha
Most players would find it a pain to flick the control stick for a stationary RSHL though.

Yea I been knew this already. all my controllers are loose or I make them loose cuz I hate playing with new controllers its way to stiff and I cant reverse lasers. most top players know this already too.
