Smash Lord
This is my fourth (whoa, for times already) addition to my Perfect Chaos series, and I think I've outdone myself this time.
The video itself is loosely divided into three general sections. These 'sections' are sorted by what I feel are the three "T"s of Fox (or any SSBB gameplay):
Technicality:
How well a player can control the minute aspects of the character; what their "technical skill-level" is. It is essential for landing combos, pseudo-combos and attack-strings.
Tenacity:
How far a player is willing to push the character, what kind of 'balls' they have in using their skill. Tenacious play is useful for aggressive pressure-building, as well as landing the kill in many cases.
Tactics:
Balancing the two aforementioned aspects, and blending them into a workable strategy to win with. This is where the so-called "Mind-Games" come into play.
Even if what I just said up there is complete BS, keep in mind that it is simply how I've organized my clips. I did my best to have the clips compliment the music I've chosen, and vice-versa.
One thing you'll notice straight-away: my "combos" rarely end in a kill; that's because I play against some pretty stiff competition.
For every well-executed combo, every satisfying kill, every opportunity exploited you see in this video: there are a comparable number of moments where I take it in the dirt from the excellent players I'm up against.
In addition, the clips I've used were all taken exclusively from in-person matches. No wifi.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the video:
