Playable Character or assistant trophy?
now i will run down a list of whether some major or minor nintendo characters have more chance of being AT or Pc or Not included(N/A).
note: i consider these educated guesses but still thats exactly what they are: guesses.
this is in no particular order.
Captain Olimar
AT:40-50%
PC:50-60%
N/A:0-10%
Olimar is one of the newest creation of Sigeru Miyamoto and there for a little bit older than ike(so his young age is not the problem of him getting in) His moveset would most likely involve Pikmins wich come in 5 different colours: yellow: could be involved with his recovery because the yellow are the so called jumpers, the red: could be basic attacks for they are the fighters. blue:no idea what they could be used for. the white:same a blue no idea and the purple could be his down b(kinda like yoshis)
but this could as easily be his AT Moves so this is kinda like 50/50 but he is a major nintendo mascot now so i think there is more chance of him in as a Character than an AT.

i mean your tail and your jetpack and your pop guns and no to mention what your special move could be : face melting guitar solo!!!(you could even use the not yet released "guitar hero " guitar.

Ok So Sakurai was modest about putting his own creations in melee(so he put only one
) but frankly i don't think he gives a RATS *** about putting them in now because this could be his last smash bros title or even(hopefully not) THE last smash bros. so i think the 3rd continuously appering kirby character deserves a spot in the roster.
and besides he has a freaking hammer that should be enough.

now this is the kind of characters(or uuum planets) i want appearing as ATs NOT SAMURAI GOROH!!!!!
could take a while to activate and you could delay its crash by attacking it(but your fate is inevitable*evil moon laugther*)
i mean i think im spotting a pattern in th at characters if you havent already : alot of the trophy's from melee.
Majoras mask/w skull kid

N/A:30-40%
Could be the transforming Majoras mask without the skull kid or the flute playing skullkid included. the reason i think this one is more likley than some of the otherones is because it was a stage in melee.

I think alot of the npcs are going ti be assist trophy's hint the hammer bro from the subspace emissary
and there for i think that lakitu is a perfect choice.
now im speaking of the the spike throwing one not the camera carrying one.
