I decided that my poisonous Easter chocolate was no longer a danger, so I ate some. Well, it was a stupid thing to do because ten minutes after I ate that chocolate bunny I felt extremely Ill and delirious. So, I drag my half numb body up my stairs to my bedroom. There I feverishly drop my jeans and hit the pillow. I knew I couldn’t fall asleep right away, I mean it was still only nine and I didn’t REEEALLY wanna go to bed yet. So, I pull out the big guns and use some cheap self-hypnotism. About twenty minutes into it I’m drowning in delirium and dozing off into my sleepy coma for the night when. . . . something shakes my bed. I quickly snap out of it and collect my startled self. What the flip was that!?! It takes a while, but I eventually convince myself that I shook my bed. Sometimes I’ll spazz in a dream and actually move in real life, which has woke me up before. Though this time was different, that is the story I’m sticking to. After all, I suffer from sleep paralysis so it’s not too farfetched to think my sleeping habits are just really screwed up.

I’ll admit it, I believe in aliens, ghosts, and even the occasional crytpid creature.I have my few ghostly encounters, but nothing awesome. So I came to my favorite community to ask you. Do you have any paranormal encounters? When did it happen? How old were you? Is it truely unnexplainable, or just your own personal conclusion?

I'm curious to see exactly how Paranormal Smashboards is. You know, besides the fact that we all decide to make friends on the internet over real life.

Not much at all for me, but that's mainly because for quite a few years I did research in pretty much everything paranormal I could think of and I either disproved them all or found explainations for all of them.

Same with me, but then again I haven't actually been to, or lived in a "Haunted House/Area", Which would probably aide to the ghost end of things. I know around where I live (The NorthWest) Bigfoot hotspots are practically in my back yard. And well, UFO/Alien Phenomenon is found everywhere.

If aliens were visiting our planet, they wouldn't be seen. Also, why the **** would they come here, do you have any idea how much effort that **** would take?

Anyway, in order for them to do so, they'd pretty much have to stop time around them to travel. Stop. Time. We're closer to making A ****ING INVISIBILITY CLOAK before that. Take some time to think about that while I smash my head on a wall.

We've actually created invisibility using metamaterials actually... :troll:

One time two years ago I felt someone violently shake me awake and I freaked out. :/ Thing is, nobody else was there at that time. I thought it could either be some random body spasm or something ghostly.

Probably a spasm, I frequently do that. I feel like an idiotic dog who startles itself in it's sleep, but yeah. More then likely.

I'm thinking there's a lot of stuff we just can't see/understand yet. Kind of like how those in medieval times were extremely wrong with the causes of illness and what not, we're probably wrong on a lot of things too, even if we have a better understanding.

I think a lot of it could be real though. I'd imagine having an experience really sways your opinion. And I haven't had one except in my dreams.

I personally do not believe your story because there are two many alternate expiations, as well as a lack of proper evidence (I doubt you could provide such evidence over the internet anyway). That and incubuses are rare as all hell.

Is it truely unexplainable, or just your own personal conclusion?
Tributing a paranormal explanation to an event that one can not explain is a contradiction, in a way you are saying "I can not explain something, so I can explain it."

I would like to start off say that without evidence, I tend to have a suspension of opinion until I can get evidence. As a result I lack a believe in god, and a vast majority of similar clams, religious or other wise. However I do "believe" so to speak in ghosts, because I have personally encountered them, not really a fan of talking about subjects considering that I am normally so skeptical, and I do admit if I never encountered them myself I would of never of "believed". That is just me however I personally encourage everyone to be skeptical of supernatural claims even if you do encounter ghosts yourself , because there are so many people who lie and try to scam people in this arena, if you will. As far as I can tell a huge majority of ghost stories are false, though I would like to believe not all of them are fake, for reasons stated earlier.

I would imagine so. I personally have never had an experience, but I am very open to the possabilty of Extraterrestrial beings that are far more advance then us being able to travel faster then the speed of light.

A LOT of scientists once thought that flying machines which are heavier then air could never work. Now we laugh at that. I think in the future we will look at some of our theories when it comes to space travel and all that goes along with it and laugh.

Edit:

@Dragon Fighter, I don't believe a ghost did anything to my bed last night, like I said I'm pretty sure I did it to myself. And I agree on being skeptical. But, like you proved, when people have experiences, it changes your perception. I wouldn't call myself a "believer" in all things Paranormal, but I am very open to the possibility.
Agreed, succubi aren't prevelent at all. I've only heard of one case within the past 100 years. But that's just from my personal knowledge.

Where people get NOTHING.
Or they would have to warp matter around them to pull themselves further in space without moving in the traditional sense. RL Star Trek Warp Drive ****. Which is also near impossible to do IRL.

I dream and sometimes if it's intense enough a dream I'll move in the dream and in bed till the point I wake up also.
