That's right, the crew that never technically existed to begin with is hosting a tourney in their hometown of Montclair, NJ sometime on June 6th~
A big thing to mention is that we are going to need TVs and Wiis. We currently don't have a date, but once one is up, if you'll be able to attend it would be excellent if you could bring setups.
Bring extra money; pizza will be ordered, drinks will be for sale, and if we're lucky we may have other snacks as well. There's a huge selection of places to eat as well as many convenience stores and a few fast food places within twenty minutes max of the venue.
Signups start at 11:00; the tourney will start about an hour or an hour and a half after that, and the rest of the schedule will vary based on how long the events take, though we would like to start singles by 5:00.

Typical prize split used for winners.

Route 46: Valley Road / Grove Street exits.
Route 3: Grove Street
Buses: NJT: 28 - Newark / MSU (This is a bit far from the venue, if you use this let us know so we can try to get you picked up)
DeCamp 66 - NYC / West Orange (Get off on Orange Road and walk over to Gates and up the hill, other stops are fine but we'll have to pick you up)
Both buses stop in front of the high school, so if you think you'll have issues with remembering other stops that's a fairly central and easy-to-find location.

- No excessive stalling or 'planking.' If you feel you are being planked please contact a judge MID-MATCH. Any other complaints after the fact will be ignored.
- Enter your name tags and controls before a match begins. You may not quit mid-match to enter controls.
- Standing infinites, such as Dedede's standing chain-grab, are banned. Using IDC to excessively stall a match is banned, but the AT itself is not.

You may not select a level that you have already won on in the set. You may select the stage played previously given that you did not win on it.

There are NUMEROUS ways to get to Montclair; Route 3, Route 46, and the GSP all have exits to / essentially to Montclair. As well, we have several buses including ones that go through Newark and NYC that stop in Montclair; the 66 DeCamp bus stops at the base of the venue's block.153 Gates Avenue

RULES

- 8 minute timer
- No items

- Stock Sharing allowed

- If necessary, players may request a double-blind.
- Before the first match each player, according to seed, will alternate removing a neutral from selection. The last one remaining will be the first stage. Players may also ban a stage at this time
- After the first match, the losing player selects a stage, the winning player selects a character, and then the losing player selects a character.
- In the event that the set goes to the third round, repeat the above step.
- Dave's Modified Stupid Rule: No stage may be used twice in a single set if the player choosing already won on that stage.
- Ties will be broken by lives, then percentage. In the event of a percentage tie, an additional one stock match will be played.
