Paper Mario Characters?

Seriously, whenever someone suggests Paper Mario, all I ever hear is "He wouldn't be the same as Mario, so he should be in!"

Crappy logic. If anyone's going to represent Mario RPGs, it should be Geno.

Oh come on... I'm not anti-Geno, in fact I kind of want him in as he'd bring something new to the game, but that's just your opinion.

Besides this is about PAPER MARIO characters not SUPER MARIO RPG characters.

I agree. It would have been an awesome alternate costume... but it doesn't seem they're going to exist. I suppose they could have a fully 3D Mr. L. It would have been cooler to have the paper look, though. XD

Shadowbolt, the poll doesn't dictate every character which makes it into the game. You should know better than that. Characters not on the poll can make it... Did you ever think of that?

Besides - like I said, Mr. L is just Paper Luigi. If we don't get Paper Mario, we're sure as hell not getting Paper Luigi.

Besides we don't know that Luigi's coming back. He could come back as Mr. L. It's HIGHLY unlikely, of course... but I'd bet that Luigi will be completely different from Melee.

At first I was uninterested in Paper Mario as a character, but after playing Paper Mario (the original) I would love it if he were a character, just so that some of his attacks could be his partners. I haven't played Thousand Year Door or Super Paper Mario, so I only know about Goombario, Kooper, Parakarry, Bow, Bombette, Lakilester, Sushie, and Watt, but I love them a lot. They could be his special attacks, and his "a" attacks can be his hammer and jumping.
