Hello!
I've opened gamecube controllers for cleaning purposes several times in the past. However, I've this 20 year old controller that has taken a lot of damage over the years: its Z button is so damaged that it's actually way easier to press and use lol. but whenever I press it I realize that it's probably a bit broken and I may not be able to piece it together if I open the controller. So I'd prefer not to open it, yet the padding of my left stick completely wore off and it's hard to do tech with it. is there any kind of padding I can get on amazon that would just...glue itself on the top of my stick? or, alternatively, is there other solution that could let me avoid having to buy a replacement stick and risking opening my controller? sorry if i'm not explaining what i'm looking for correctly, I think my english is decent but this requires some vocabulary I may not have lol.
thanks in advance!
