I am very proud of my dudes for putting Pac and DHD in the top 8. obviously now we've got to watch the remaining rosalinas, diddy and sheiks but we see the potential of these characters.

Wonderful news. Great to see so much viability in this game. Pac-Man is one of those underrated characters who just doesn't get enough appreciation. Perhaps after this event, some new Pac-Man mains will emerge. And don't be too upset about him losing to Rosaluma. She's a tough opponent for a lot of characters. That said, good job Pac-Man!

Abadango played campy and Rosalina nullified that. He didn't do well in close quarters and didn't take time into account. It was his fault for not either switching to Wario or changing his playstyle.

I was devastated when I saw he had to play Dabuz, but damn did Abadango put up a good fight. I don't know about you guys, but he showed me a lot of stuff I plan to steal for this matchup. He made the matchup look possible and renewed my hope in it.

Rosalina going into Apex was known as Pac-man's toughest matchup. abadango showed that we do have a shot. His performance also showed the potency of nair as another kill move. I would severely recommend working it into your off stage play if you have not already.

That is the thing with Rosa-Luma players when they face Pac-Man, They always expect an item to be thrown and often (The matches I have played online againt Rosa-Luma players) they spam her Gravitational. I tend to play without my bonus fruit and attack when Luma is kinda far away (or is no longer around). That typically changes the pace of the match, but the matches can be really long, well over the time actually given for online play.

I sometimes try to get the Key early and hold it till the right moment (Typically when I am sure the key will kill if they get hit).
